M. Snoek is <a href=\"http:\/\/isis-data.science.uva.nl\/cgmsnoek\/pub\/jain-tubelets-cvpr2014.pdf\">now available<\/a>. This paper considers the problem of action localization,\u00a0where the objective is to determine when and where certain\u00a0actions appear. We introduce a sampling strategy to produce\u00a02D+t sequences of bounding boxes, called tubelets.\u00a0Compared to state-of-the-art alternatives, this drastically\u00a0reduces the number of hypotheses that are likely to include the action of interest. Our method is inspired by a recent\u00a0technique introduced in the context of image localization.\u00a0Beyond considering this technique for the first time for videos, we revisit this strategy for 2D+t sequences obtained\u00a0from super-voxels.
